Elly Cope is a violinist and orchestra director currently based in Somerville, MA.
​
Elly is currently finishing her master's degree at Boston University in Education for Equity and Social Justice, planning to graduate in August 2025. She was previously the Middle School Orchestra Director for the Andover Public Schools in Massachusetts and Secondary Orchestra Director for the Red Lion Area School District in Pennsylvania. Elly graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in the Spring of 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a minor in Theatre.
After graduating from BU, Elly will be searching for positions in which she can make an impact outside the classroom in increasing equity, diversity, and access to arts education.
